Counselling and processing of students' applications
We provide accurate and unbiased information on schools, such as academic performance of school, boarding facility, pastoral care, location and tuition fee. We will advise you on which schools will suit you, taking into account your academic ability, interest, sporting prowess, etc. This service is free. During counselling, we will identify your strengths and weaknesses, and match you with a school that is suitable for you – one where you will fit in, be happy, and give your best.
ETES is an appointed testing center for AEAS (Australian Education Assessment Services).
A large number of schools base their student acceptance on the AEAS report. The test consists of five parts:
- Abstract (non-verbal) reasoning
- Mathematics reasoning
- English and essay
- Oral and listening skills
- Interview
The test takes about 3 hours and all parts are in English. A test fee is charged. No prior preparation is necessary.
ETES will advise on home-stay and guardianship arrangements for students not boarding in schools. In addition, we also provide information on accommodation in selected areas in Australia.
ETES will assist clients with Student Visa applications including translations and certification of documents. A service fee is charged.
ETES will on request, brief students before they leave for Australia on what to expect, things to take over, what is a fair allowance, expenses, lifestyle, culture, etc., to prepare them for life overseas.
ETES, having been in the education line for the past two decades, is mindful of the problems that some students and parents may encounter. Many still come to us for advice and help whenever problems arise even though the students are well settled in at the schools. And we always assist them.
