Ivanhoe Girls' Grammar School (established in 1903) is a day school for girls. There are about 1050 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Facilities at the School include a Performing Arts Centre, gymnasium, indoor heated swimming pool and visual arts centre. The School is situated about 8km from the centre of Melbourne, with excellent bus and train services.

The School seeks to provide excellence in education, with nearly all of our international students entering Australian universities for further studies.

Individual care and attention for each student is a feature of the School, with an International student co-ordinator and orientation program for international students. The School organises and oversees approved homestay accommodation and assists in arranging guardians for students.

International students are currently studying from Years 9 to 12. Entry is available from Year 9 to Year 11 although entry is preferred at Year 10 where the students are involved in the Secondary English Preparation Program. Mid year intake at Year 10 is available. Enrolments to Year 12 are not accepted.
