The Istituto Superiore di Design established in 1988 in Naples is the first institution of Art and Design in the Southern of Italy. Its mission is to provide students with the cultural and technical means to realise their passion to a professional level in line with their expectations and the demands of the labour market in the new areas of Design, Fashion and Communication.

The Istituto Superiore di Design is made up of three departments: ISD Fashion, ISD Design, ISD Media Arts and Communication Design that offer a wide range of courses of different levels and duration:

Foundation courses: one year
Intensive Courses: one year
Undergraduate courses: three years
Master courses: one year
Summer courses: one month.

A multi-ethnic environment, a variety of culture and exchange opportunities characterise life and atmosphere at the Istituto Superior di Design where the 10% of its students come from different countries of Europe and Worldwide.
